An effective work morning at both yards and while the two mares, Catchthemoonlight and Topham Bay worked four times up the Kilduff gallop, the others worked four times up the Arlary gallop. There was good work from Newtown Lad, Tantamount, Maraweh, Bescot Springs, Sky Khan, One For Arthur, Dr Hooves and Big River. Many of those have entries in the next few weeks and they should be followed when they next run.
Oli was busy organising rebranded clothing and horsewear. We are to be sponsored by Edinburgh Gin in the next month, an official announcement is still to take place, but until then we have been having fun choosing jackets and tops; we are delighted to have secured a fabulous deal with Musto so everyone will be dry and warm when riding out and working.
Jaimie arrived back at nine o'clock at night with the new four year old Saint Freule. It has been a long journey for him (and Jaimie) but he was fresh as he walked off the two stall and headed straight to his feed and carrots.
We have just one runner at Carlisle tomorrow when Ryalex steps up in trip to two and a half miles. He jumped well on his chase debut and we think that he has come on for that run, hopefully he can give County Set Five and Keith Hunter a good day tomorrow.
